To ensure that you maintain great oral health, this level of quality needs to extend into your personal oral hygiene routine. We can help you establish a dental hygiene routine that will keep your teeth healthy and white. If you have any questions about your current hygiene plan please ask us.

Your teeth are not the only important part of your mouth. Your gums are essential to oral hygiene as well. We can provide periodontal cleanings and treatment, or refer you to one of our recommended specialists. Please let us know if you have any questions.

Fluoride treatment can help protect your teeth and your enamel, the hard, outer surface layer of your teeth. Enamel protects your teeth against decay and fluoride protects your enamel. Enamel is considered the hardest mineral substance in your body, even stronger than your bones! The American Dental Association (ADA) recommends a professional fluoride treatment at your dentist’s office every 3, 6, or 12 months, depending on your oral health. Patients that have a high risk for cavities may also be prescribed a special fluoride rinse or gel to use regularly at home.

Annual dental exams are an important part of your oral health and overall wellness and wellbeing.

Your very first visit will include an exam by our Brockton dentist. Emergency dental exams are accepted immediately. Our dentist will work to clean your teeth and check for gum disease, cavities, and more. During your exam our dentist in Brockton will talk with you about your issues, concerns, and lifestyle, including diet, and oral hygiene. Proper brushing techniques and daily flossing will also be discussed.

X-rays are used to show various parts of your mouth and teeth, their alignment, spacing, and health. Radiation exposure from dental x-rays is low which is why they’re typically only done annually and should not be done during pregnancy.

Exams and X-Rays

During your examinations, our Brockton dentist or hygienist will always look for oral cancer signs. The area under your jaw, and around your neck, lips and cheeks, will be examined along with the your tongue and the roof and floor of your mouth. Preventive care is scheduled semi-annually, on average of every 6 months, to detect any issues as soon as possible.
